Like larger cities, Naperville is proud of its artistic heritage. Residents can explore local art galleries, or take in a play. The city is the residence of seventeen different theatrical and musical organisations, so there is something to suit everyone’s taste.
You can definitely hear the gleeful sounds of music in Naperville. The Acappellago Chamber Choir is a cappella chamber choir which performs primarily in Naperville and the surrounding area. The DuPage Symphony Orchestra is an 85-member symphony orchestra featuring a wide array of superb soloists, concerts and special events throughout the year. The 75-member Naperville Chorus is a non-auditioned chorus which performs a spring and winter concert each year. The Chorus of DuPage is an all male non-profit barbershop singing group. The chorus performs throughout the year at community events, conventions, civic organizations, churches and senior residences in and around Naperville. The 270 member Young Naperville Singers performs annually in a spring and holiday concert and numerous community performances.
